This Spring, a group of educators from the U.S. and Australia accepted the challenge of joining the inaugural Hapara Certified Educator (HCE) program cohort. These individuals were invited to participate because of their demonstrated expertise with Hapara tools and advanced skill as professional developers and edtech integrators. After spending their summer participating in a rigorous training program, completing assessments, and preparing innovative professional learning resources, we are pleased to announce that Hapara will begin awarding badges this week!

At Hapara, we believe that meaningful professional learning and outcomes-driven edtech integration produces positive educational transformation. The HCE badge is awarded to accomplished learning leaders who emphasize a 21st Century approach to integrating Hapara and other edtech tools for impactful teaching and learning. Hapara Certified Educators believe that technology integration to learning is a means to an end; not an end in, and of itself. Hapara Certified Educators are connected professionals, active contributors to professional learning networks, and are generous with their knowledge and expertise. Hapara Certified Educators make use of best practices and develop better practices.

In September, Hapara will launch a second cohort of Hapara Certified Educators. We are currently recruiting a limited number of candidates from around the world for this exclusive opportunity. If you are interested in applying to join the program, or just want to learn more, please contact Allison.Winston@Hapara.com. Or have a look at this introduction to the HCE process.
