Make summer professional learning more flexible with Hapara Workspace

One of our favorite things about Hapara Workspace (other than how easy it makes it to provide differentiated digital learning experiences) is that it can serve as a hub for collaborative learning for teachers as well as students. Teachers can work in Workspace as learners – allowing them to learn how to use the tool from the eyes of their students and to explore their own professional learning goals in a more flexible learning environment.

Summer is a great time for professional growth because without the presence of learners and the need for daily lesson planning, educators have more time to really dig into the topics and tools that they wanted to get to all year. However, summer is also time for a much needed refresh and relaxation, and sticking to a rigorous PD schedule or finding time to go into school to work as a team can be difficult. This is where Workspace can be helpful – districts can offer more flexible, personalized professional learning options, that educators can complete at their own pace, while still staying in touch with and learning from one another.

Want to get started using Workspace for your own summer professional learning? We searched through public Workspaces to find some great examples of how other districts are doing this.

* Hapara Tool Tip: Find great Workspaces created by other educators by using the search box in the top right corner and selecting “Public Workspaces”. More here.
