"The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others’ burdens, easing others’ loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of the holidays.” ” – W.C. Jones.

This year for the holidays, we put together a holiday-themed Workspace contest, asking educators from around the world to share their favorite lessons for keeping students engaged and learning through the busy, and often distracting, month of December. Thank you to everyone who participated, but because this is a contest, there can only be one winner! And that winner is....

tenor-1

Randy Fairfield!

Randy, an educator from Washington state, and Hapara Certified Trainer, submitted a great social studies Workspace that channels high school learners' holiday energy into class discussion about the confluence of war and the holidays.

Congrats, Randy!
